What do we do?
The Sydney Academy Alumni Association was formed to help strengthen Sydney Academy by encouraging communications among Alumni and between Alumnus and the school. We are your connection to your high school.

Do I need to join to become a member?
No, you don't. If you ever attended SA then that entitles you to be a member of Sydney Academy. We have records of all past and present students. However, these records may be out of date by now. Joining ensures we have your correct information and in turn ensures that you receive information from us.

I never graduated, am I still a member?
Yes you are. Many students are unable to complete high school for a variety of reasons. As long as you were enrolled as a student you are an Alumni member and you belong to the grad class of the year that you would have graduated in.

What is an active member?
An active member is someone who has registered with us through our registration page. Doing this provides us with current information about you so we can send you updates, newsletters, and articles of alumni interests keeping you actively linked with your Alumni Association.

What do you do with my registration information?
Your registration information is confidential and any information you supply to us is strictly for our records only. The more contact information you give us, the better we will be able to send to you information pertaining to the Alumni Association with respect to newsletters, reunions, banquets, etc. We do not sell our mailing lists to outside parties.

Will I miss out on events if I am not an active member?
We hope not; however, registering with your current information does ensure that our records on you are up to date and that you will receive all current mailings. If you are not sure if we have your current address then you should register to make sure you are included!

How do the listings work?
When you register, there is a question asking if you would like your email address to be posted on our site. When you answer yes, only your NAME, GRAD YEAR, and EMAIL will be posted. If you choose to answer no to this question, then your email address will not be posted. If you decide at a later date that you do want you email address listed so others can contact you, simply email us and we will be sure to add the email address of your choice to the site as soon as possible.
